A researcher since 2012, Laura thrives on understanding people through data, science and data science.Finding her passion for research and evidence-based strategy at university, Laura started her career in statistics learning gold standard survey methodology. The yearn to move from reporting data to turning research into actionable insights drew her into the world of media. Laura thrived on collaborating on integrated analytics projects at a London-based agency where she developed an interest in behavioural science.
Leaving London pre-pandemic, Laura joined a research agency near Bath to hone her qualitative skills, but sorely missed media and numbers. Then she found her match when Dialect were looking for a quantitative researcher.
When Laura is not analysing, diagnosing or measuring, she enjoys the outdoors or weird, wild and wonderful shows. Some of her favourites are Lost (all seasons!), Fringe, The Walking Dead and Catfish – because naturally, humans are fascinating.
